Building products / Designing systems / Shipping fast

I build technology companies from a blank page to a product people trust. Over the last eight years I've led design and engineering for three ventures, taking each from a napkin sketch to production software used by teams around the world.

About

I like problems that are
equal parts design and engineering.

I'm a self-taught engineer turned founder, based between Lisbon and wherever the next customer meeting happens to be. My work sits at the intersection of product strategy, interface design, and the kind of backend architecture that lets a small team move like a much larger one.

I've founded two companies, advised a dozen more, and spent the years in between as a product engineer at a growth-stage startup, shipping the features that took it from Series A to household name.

Let's talk

Have a product to build or a role to fill? I'd like to hear about it.

I take on a small number of advisory engagements and founding-engineer roles each year.
